Kamaz to start full-scale production of K5 trucks in February 2023
MOSCOW, Nov 28 (PRIME) -- Russian truck producer Kamaz plans to start full-scale production of the K5 generation trucks with components that don’t depend on imports from the unfriendly countries in February 2023, the Industry and Trade Ministry said in a statement on November 26.
“In spite of the sanctions imposed on the company, Kamaz continues production of the K4 and K5 trucks. Monthly output amounts to at least 100 and 150 units, respectively,” the ministry said after a visit of Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov to the plant.
“From February 2023, the company plans to ensure full-scale production of the K5 generation trucks with the components that don’t depend on supplies from the unfriendly countries.”
